The Council’s agendas and minutes are listed below, as well as a link to watch the Council meetings on Region of Queens Municipality’s YouTube channel. 

Council meetings are held twice a month in the Council Chamber of the Region of Queens Municipality, 249 White Point Road, Liverpool, NS;  the second Tuesdays of the month, meetings start at 9 a.m., and the fourth Tuesday of the month, meetings start at 5:30 p.m.  In July, August and December only one meeting is held and it is on the second Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m.

The public are welcome to attend Council meetings and speak during the public comment portion of the meeting, no registration is necessary. If you would like to speak at a specific Council meeting and be called upon by name at the beginning of the public comment session, please email clerk@regionofqueens.com.

Notice of Passing – Bylaw 28: Designation of Road Trails on Municipal Roadways

TAKE NOTICE THAT on January 13, 2026, Council of the Region of Queens Municipality adopted Bylaw No. 28 – Designation of Road Trails on Municipal Roadways, a bylaw respecting the designation of approved OHV and ATV road trails within the Municipality.

A copy of the Bylaw may be inspected at the Municipal Administration Building, located at 249 White Point Road, Liverpool, NS, during the regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on the Municipal website at www.regionofqueens.com.

Notice of Public Hearing: Sale of Municipal Property for Less Than Market Value

A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2025 at 9 a.m. in Council Chamber of Region of Queens Municipality’s Administration Building, 249 White Point Road, Liverpool. Any interested persons who wish to speak on this matter are invited to attend and make their opinions known to Council.  Written submissions will be presented at the Hearing, and must be delivered to the Municipal Office at least two (2) business days prior to the time of the Hearing.

Since September 2020, Council meetings have been video recorded and posted on Region of Queens Municipality’s YouTube channel, available to watch at your convenience. In April 2024, the municipality began live streaming Council proceedings on Region of Queens Municipality’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Following the live stream, the videos remain on the YouTube channel.
