The Finance Department plays a lead role providing guidance and oversight in determining the annual financial needs of the Region of Queens Municipality.
Overall the department is responsible for the preparation of operational and capital budgets for the Municipality, supporting all departments in the development and management of a stable financial foundation for the Region. The department is also responsible for property tax collection, water and sewer utility payments collection, as well as administering tax sales throughout the Municipality.
