The Region of Queens Municipal Clerk provides administrative support to Region of Queens Council and committees. Some of the duties of the Municipal Clerk include:
- Responsible Officer for Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) requests
- Assisting with the development and review of policies, bylaws, and formal procedures
- Returning Officer for Municipal Elections
- Custodian of Municipal Records
- Designated Officer under Policy 85 – Complaint Handling
- Facilitate preparation and distribution of Council Agendas
- Coordinate Committees of Council
If you would like to make a presentation to Council or a Committee, please fill out the application form and submit it to the Municipal Clerk.
