COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND

Region of Queens Municipality has standardized the process for making investments in our community and community endeavours including infrastructure, programs and people through the creation of the Community Investment Fund. 

The Community Investment Fund (CIF) provides annual cash grants to registered societies or societies incorportated under an Act of the Nova Scotia Legislative Assembly whose focus is on one or more of the following; athletics, education, environment, culture, community, recreation, sport, heritage or social activities within Queens County.

There are five investment fund categories available:  Capital Investments, Operational Investments, Event/Tournament Investments, Training Investments, and Travel Assistance Investment.

Application deadline for the Operating Investment Fund is January 31st annually.  All other funds under the Community Investment Fund are open year round.
