Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the solid waste and recycling facility.
- Ensure compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop facility staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Monitor facility equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are conducted.
- Implement operational strategies to optimize waste management processes and achieve waste reduction goals.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in environmental management, waste management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in waste facility management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices is an asset.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
