When the whole or any part of a building or structure is demolished, a permit is required prior to starting the demolition. For the permit, you will need to state how you will dispose of any debris, and the date of the proposed work.

Region of Queens Municipality will be offering online building and development permits through a shared regional e-permit portal.
The District of Lunenburg, Region of Queens Municipality, and the Towns of Bridgewater and Lunenburg, have partnered to offer a single online system for building, development, and subdivision permits.
With one account, you can apply for permits, upload documents or photos, and track your application in real time — all from your computer or mobile device.
