Submission of permits for approval is an integral part of the building and development process. They ensure that structures are constructed in a safe manner, that the proposed development is in compliance with Land Use Planning  regulations and they provide for proper checks and balances. There are five different permits available through the Planning and Development Department of the Region of Queens Municipality. Region of Queens Municipality will be offering online building and development permits through a shared regional e-permit portal. 

The District of Lunenburg, Region of Queens Municipality, and the owns of Bridgewater and Lunenburg, have partnered to offer a single online system for building, development, and subdivision permits.

With one account, you can apply for permits, upload documents or photos, and track your application in real time — all from your computer or mobile device.
