Join our Team: Red Seal Tradesperson
Region of Queens Municipality’s Department of Infrastructure is currently seeking applications from a highly-organized, detail-oriented and dynamic individual interested in joining our team in the position of Red Seal Tradesperson – Truck & Transport Mechanic.
The position of Red Seal Tradesperson is a hands-on position involving the Municipality’s equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing recognized training ability in the maintenance, repair or upgrade of municipal facilities or equipment
- Providing OEM standards of maintenance to equipment to enable safe utilization by employees or the public
- Utilizing hand-held implements and tools in the fabrication and construction of built-environment features
- Working individually or leading a group in the delivery of tasks by interpreting diagrams and drawings
- Working from a ladder and complex spaces
Qualifications:
- Licenses Truck and Transport Red Seal Mechanic
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Class 3 or 5 NS Drivers License with Condition 15 endorsement
