THE COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND AT A GLANCE
Region of Queens Municipality takes great pride in the ability to make investments in the community served. The Community Investment Fund (CIF) was created to help registered non-profit organizations or societies further their mission by supporting endeavors which include infrastructure, programs, and, most importantly, people.
Annual cash grants are awarded to groups focused on athletics, education, environment, culture, community, recreation, sport, heritage, or social activities within Queens County.
There are 5 (five) pillars of investment: Capital, Operational, Event/Tournament, Training, and Travel Assistance.
Applications for the 2025-26 Operating Investment Fund are being accepted effective January 2, 2025. The application deadline for the Operating Investment Fund is January 31, 2025. Now closed.
All other funds under the Community Investment Fund are open year-round.
NOTE: Participants closing out Capital Investment Projects, Event & Tournament, Training and Travel Assistance, for the 2024-25 fiscal year and seeking final reimbursement must ensure all required Final Reporting as outlined in the signed agreement, including receipts and proof of expense (exclusive of HST), as well a report outlining impacts must be received no later than March 2025.
