New: Section of College Street, Liverpool to Become One-Way
Starting Wednesday, July 15, 2026, the section of College Street between Waterloo Street and Barss Street will become a one-way street. Vehicle access will be from Waterloo Street or by making a right turn from Barss Street onto College Street. The section of College Street between Pleasant Avenue and Shore Road will remain two-way for vehicle traffic. Pedestrian and active transportation access will continue to be available in both directions along the entire street.

Summer Hours: Municipal Administration Building
Please note: Beginning July 2, 2026, Region of Queens Municipality’s Administration Office, 249 White Point Road, will switch to summer hours. Starting Thursday, July 2 through to Monday, August 31, the Administration Building will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Regular hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will resume on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Starting Monday, July 13, 2026, the section of College Street between Waterloo Street and Barss Street will become a one-way street. The goal of this change to the traffic pattern is increased pedestrian safety. Vehicle access will be from Waterloo Street or by making a right turn from Barss Street onto College Street. The section of College Street between Pleasant Avenue and Shore Road will remain two-way for vehicle traffic. Pedestrian and active transportation access will continue to be available in both directions along the entire street.

Notice: Construction Work – Detours and Traffic Control
Work to upgrade the lift station located near the Liverpool bridge, has started on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The work is focused on the one-way section of Henry Hensey Drive (the entrance to the parking lot from the bridge). Entry and exit on Henry Hensey Drive is still available, and there is signage and traffic control in place. Construction is expected to continue through to the week of June 1 – 5, 2026.
