Public Notice: White Point Road Sidewalk Project

Issued Friday, August 21, 2026: Construction of a new sidewalk on White Point Road, Liverpool, between Meadow Pond Lane and Harley Umphrey Drive, is scheduled to begin on August 24, 2026.

The project will enhance pedestrian safety along a busy section of roadway, providing connectivity from a wooded trail to the sidewalk system in Liverpool, and to businesses, government services and the public library, located on Harley Umphrey Drive. 

The work will be carried out by Dexter Construction, weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Traffic control will be in place throughout construction, with one lane closed during working hours and flaggers on each side to maintain safe traffic flow. Construction will continue over the coming weeks. Crews will make every effort to minimize disruption and will restore any disturbed areas as work progresses.
