North Queens Beach Volleyball Court Now Open
It’s open and ready for you to serve up the fun! The Beach Volleyball Court located on the grounds of North Queens Aquatic Centre, has opened for the season! If you are planning an event there, please complete the Request for Facility Use Form ( click here for the webpage) and send the completed form to publicworks@regionofqueens.com The net is up, lines are down, and the sand has been thoroughly checked for hazards (and weeded) – thank you to our Municipal staff for their care in this!
Public notice: Be Aware – discarded sharps found
Recently, discarded sharps (used needles) have been found in shrub gardens on Market Street when staff were spring cleaning in Liverpool. They also discovered drug paraphernalia on Henry Hensey Drive. Region of Queens Municipality reminds park users to remain on the trails when using parks, and to be aware of your surroundings and those of children and pets. Keep safety in mind. Internal renovations to convert a vacant space into a dynamic location for the library are complete at the Liverpool Business Development Centre at 54 Harley Umphrey Drive, Liverpool. External works to the facade and parking are still to come.
