May 1, 2024:  The Milton Centennial Pool suffered significant damage in the unprecedented rainfall and flash flooding events in July 2023. As a result, the pool was closed to assess the damage and make repairs. Unfortunately, repair work was not able to be completed in the Fall of 2023 and when staff uncovered the pool in April 2024, additional damage had occurred over the winter months. April 29, 2023; Liverpool, NS: Following several months of budget planning and deliberations, the annual Operating, Water Utility, and Capital Budgets for Region of Queens Municipality were unanimously approved at the April 29, 2024 Special Council meeting. By allowing grass to grow longer and letting flowers bloom, lawns can provide nectar and pollen to help our bee neighbors thrive.
