Project Updates: Main Street Pedestrian And Accessibility Improvement Project, Waterloo Street East Infrastructure Improvement Project, and Mount Pleasant Service Extension Project

🚧 Main Street Pedestrian Safety & Accessibility Improvement Project, Week of November 2 – 6, 2026

  • Work on the Main Street and Market Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements project in Liverpool is continuing, with concrete work by the Post Office now completed.
  • Sidewalk and curb work, including concrete installation will take place throughout the week in the areas of 154 – 190 Main Street. The work will move day to day as the project progresses. During these activities, temporary disruptions to pedestrian routes, traffic movements, parking, and property access may occur in the immediate work areas. Concrete placement and curing will also require temporary restrictions on access to newly poured sections. Please use caution when travelling through the construction area, follow posted signage, and respect instructions from crews on site. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these important pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements.
