EVENT BID OPPORTUNITY: 2021 World Championships of Double Bitted Axe Throwing
The North Nova Lumberjacks Society, event rights holder for the 2021 World Championships, have officially opened the community bidding process among 7 selected locations across Atlantic Canada to host the 2021 World Championships of Double-Bitted Axe Throwing. Liverpool is a chosen location.
This is an international sport hosting opportunity that will attract upwards 200 competitors from across the world. Previously this event was held in Hallfors, Sweden in 2019 and Munster (Hessen), Germany in 2017.
The Championship will be held over a 3 day period within dates ranging from early June to late September 2021.Proponents must confirm an expression of interest by Friday December 6, 2019. The bid process will close Tuesday March 19, 2020.
