Update: Milton Centennial Pool has Opened Following Closure
July 5, 2018, 9 a.m.Milton Centennial Pool will be closed the morning of July 5 as a result of a chemical imbalance. Those registered for morning swim lessons are being contacted regarding an alternate time for their lessons today. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The safety of our participants and staff is our #1 priority; we will re-open the pool for aquatic activity only when we are positive that there will be no safety issues for swimmers and staff. Region of Queens Municipality to Host Cycling Weekend
May 30, 2018; Liverpool, NS: As part its strategy to encourage more residents to become active, the Region of Queens Municipality’s Recreation and Healthy Communities Department will be offering a Cycling Weekend on June 16th and 17th, 2018. Offered in partnership with the Ecology Action Centre, this one-day workshop will teach participants how to lead the “Making Tracks” program or simply improve your cycling knowledge, skills and confidence.
