June 12, 2020: The time has arrived where we can begin to partially re-open Queens Place Emera Centre to the public. During the past three months, our staff have been completing maintenance, offering on-line fitness classes, and cleaning rigorously to prepare to safely re-open according to the required public health protocols. LEAF AND YARD WASTE PICK-UP   May 4 to May 8, 2020 and May 11 to May 15, 2020   This year’s LEAF AND YARD WASTE roadside pick-up will be held during the weeks of May 4 to May 8, 2020 and May 11 to May 15, 2020 on your regular collection day. The materials acceptable for pick-up shall include leaves, grass trimmings, and yard waste placed in clear or orange plastic bags. The tragic results of the loss of so many innocent lives in Nova Scotia on April 18 and 19 will remain with us for a long time. Along with all of Nova Scotia, our residents mourn with the families and their communities, including the death of a courageous member of our Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
