Community Catch-up Sessions: Chat and Connect with Council Members
This Autumn, Region of Queens Municipality’s Council is coming to a community near you as part of their series of Community Catch-Up Sessions. At each of the seven meetings, Mayor Christian and members of Council will provide community members with an update on Municipal projects over the past year, what’s on the schedule to take place, and what’s currently underway. Council wants to hear from you – help to identify priorities in your community!
Seven meetings are scheduled throughout Queens County – come to one near you (there is one planned in each electoral district), or attend one that is convenient for your schedule. All sessions are held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
The dates of the sessions are as follows:
- Tuesday, October 20 — Mersey Point Community Hall
- Monday, October 26 — North Queens Fire Hall
- Monday, November 9 — Seaside Centre
- Monday, November 16 — Greenfield Fire Hall
- Monday, November 23 — Hunts Point Community Hall
- Thursday, November 26 — Queens Place Emera Centre
- ** please note, the date of this meeting has changed to November 26 due to scheduling conflicts with the original date of November 19
- Wednesday, December 9 — Milton Memorial Hall
