Public Notice: Upcoming Water main Work

The Region of Queens Municipality advises residents that water valve installation will be completed near 4 Old Port Mouton Rd, Liverpool.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and will continue overnight until the work is complete.
Residents near the work zone can expect increased noise, dust, and additional lighting as crews work to complete the valve installation.
To complete the repair, water service will be temporarily shut off in the following areas:
- Main Street (between Union Street and Brunswick Street)
- Old Port Mouton Road
- Payzant Street (between Old Port Mouton Road and Brunswick Street)
- Brunswick Street
- George Street (between Old Port Mouton Road and White Point Road)
- Harley Umphrey Drive
- Queen Street Extension
- West Street
- White Point Road (from George Street to 249 White Point Road)
Old Port Mouton Road between Main St and Payzant St will be closed to all traffic; detours will be in place for the duration of the repair work. Please follow all posted signage and allow extra travel time if you are travelling through the area.
Following the completion of the work, customers may experience temporary discoloured water. If this occurs, please run your cold-water tap, preferably a bathtub faucet, until the water runs clear.
