Updated: Upgrades Continue at Beach Meadows Beach

October 27, 2022: As part of ongoing upgrades at Beach Meadows Beach, Boardwalk #2 will be temporarily closed.

Construction of the new change facility in Beach Meadows has begun. Beach Meadows Beach is a Municipally owned beach, and over the past two years, a number of upgrades have been made to ensure the beach is accessible to all.  The current project is permitted by Department of Lands and Forestry for construction.

We apologise for any inconvenience the closure of Boardwalk 2 may cause.  While Boardwalk 2 is closed, the public is reminded that Boardwalk 4 is also an accessible boardwalk, ending with an elevated viewing platform overlooking the beach.
