Update: Temporary Water Disruption for areas of Liverpool

Oct. 4, 2022, 2:30 p.m.: Work continues on the water leak on Old Port Mouton Rd., Liverpool, and as a result, water will be shut off at 3:00 p.m. to properties in the following areas, and is expected to take several hours:

  • Old Port Mouton Road, from Payzant Street to the conclusion of the water utility, at Dr. John C. Wickwire Academy,
  • George Street, From Old Port Mouton Road to White Point Road,
  • White Point Road, from George Street westerly to the conclusion of the water utility, at the Administration Building for the Region of Queens Municipality.

Properties near the impacted area may experience loss of water pressure and /or discoloured water. 

The temporary road closure remains in place, covering the area of Old Port Mouton Road from George Street to Payzant Street.  Traffic control will be in place.

October 4, 2022:  A section of Old Port Mouton Rd., Liverpool, from Payzant Street to George St. will be closed today as crews work to repair a water leak.  Properties in the area of the closure, as well as surrounding areas, may experience a disruption in water service and/or discoloured water throughout the day as crews work to complete the repair.  Traffic control will be in place.
