Assessment District 5 & 6 Area Rate Results
Brooklyn Cemetery Committee On March 30, 2023, eligible voters in Assessment Districts 5 and 6 were given an opportunity to vote on a request from Brooklyn Cemetery Committee to levy a 1.5 cent per $100 of assessment on all assessment accounts in Assessment Districts 5 and 6 for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. A series of budget meetings were held over the past several weeks to discuss the 2023/2024 fiscal budget for Region of Queens Municipality. Winter Parking Restrictions in Effect
Winter Parking Restrictions in Liverpool Motorists are reminded that Winter Parking restrictions are now in place. Section 139 of the Motor Vehicle Act states that vehicles may not park or interfere in any way with snow removal or sanding/salting, and that those who do, may be towed at the owners expense. Please be advised that vehicles parked on the roads, at parking meters or public parking lots in Liverpool will be towed if they impede winter maintenance.
