May 23 – 29, 2021 is VON Week: Flag on Special Purpose Flag Pole

May 26, 2021: From May 26 through June 2, 2021, the flag pole on the waterfront in Liverpool, NS will fly the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) flag in honour of VON Week. This year’s theme is “Compassion Where it Counts”, gives us all a chance to recognize VON’s passionate staff and volunteers, and their longstanding willingness to help those who need, especially during the pandemic. We are fortunate to have VON Queens County serving our community, and grateful for the devotion and hard work of the staff and volunteers.
