UPDATE: Hillsview Acres Home for Special Care Reopened – the Covid Outbreak has been Cleared

January 21, 2026: Please note that the Hillsview Acres Home for Special Care has been declared officially out of the outbreak of January 2, 2026. Visitors are welcome once again.

As always, regular hand washing and sanitizing is encouraged and if anyone is feeling unwell or displaying flu- like symptoms, please consider delaying your visit.

Notice: Temporary Closure of Hillsview Acres to Non-Essential Visitors

January 2, 2026: Following confirmation today from Nova Scotia Public Health/Department of Health, Hillsview Acres meets the criteria for a confirmed COVID outbreak.

The home will be closed to non-essential visitors and masking will be enforced. As always, good hand hygiene practices of washing hands with soap and water and frequent sanitizing are encouraged. Any changes to this status will be relayed on social media and families will be contacted.
