PUBLIC UPDATE – STORM NOTICES

MUNICIPAL OFFICE
The Region of Queens Municipality’s public offices, including the Administration Building located at 249 White Point Road in Liverpool, will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, as a result of forecasted weather conditions.

Staff will be working from home and providing service remotely.

UPDATED >>> QUEENS PLACE EMERA CENTRE
Queens Place Emera Centre (QPEC) will remain open as a community warming centre until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. The fitness centre at QPEC will be closed for the day and ALL afternoon and evening programming, including ice rentals, have been cancelled for the day on Monday.

WASTE COLLECTION
Curbside waste collection in Queens County scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, has been rescheduled and will instead take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Affected residents are asked to have waste curbside by 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
