Updated: Help for Residents with a Dry or Low Well

Residents of Queens County: Is your well dry or low?

Until current dry conditions improve and there is substantial rainfall throughout Queens County, everyone is doing what they can to conserve water.

The Municipality is organizing options for people to get potable and non potable water, as well as shower access. The current list is posted below and is on the Municipality’s website and Facebook page. It will be updated as more options are confirmed.

Currently, the following sources are available for residents, free of charge:

* Cowie Well, 733 Main Street, Liverpool
* Coastal Queens Place, 8100 Highway 3, Port Mouton
* West Queens Recreation Association, 70 River Head Road, Port Mouton.
* North Queens Fire Department, 9793 Hwy. 8, Caledonia

SHOWERS

Greenfield Recreation Centre, 5048 Highway 210, Greenfield.  Sign in on site, first come first served. Open for use: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat, & Sun — 4 pm to 8 pm and Tues & Fri hours — 6 am to 8 am

West Queens Recreation Association, 70 River Head Road, Port Mouton. Book your shower by calling 902-683-2960.

Queens Place Emera Centre, 50 Queens Place Drive, Brooklyn. Book by calling 902-354-4422.

Coastal Queens Place, 8100 Highway 3, Port Mouton. Book your shower by calling 902-220-4062.
