The Department of Recreation and Community Facilities provides administrative assistance to community groups to aid with their activities, events, and fundraising efforts.
Any non-profit Community Organization in Queens County shall be eligible for the following administrative assistance:
- One Thousand (1000) free copies per calendar year.
- Free typing of letters and minutes for Community Organizations within reason. Responses to requests will normally be fulfilled within five (5) business days.
- Newsletter, brochure and pamphlet design, layout and typing will be provided as time permits. New items will require up to ten (10) business days for set up and layout, while existing items can be revised within a few days.
Organizations requesting assistance shall make their detailed request in person. The Department Secretary/Receptionist will provide an approximate date of completion will obtain contact information to get in touch when the items are ready for pick up.
