Key Responsibilities:
- Lead meaningful and lasting changes in physical activity levels of the community.
- Facilitate the development and support of community-based physical activity initiatives, focusing on integrating unstructured physical activity into daily life.
- Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and stakeholders to promote inclusive physical activity opportunities, especially for low-active and equity-deserving populations.
- Provide guidance and resources to community groups for developing sustainable programs that encourage an active lifestyle and reduce sedentary behavior.
- Monitor the effectiveness of community programs and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Kinesiology, Recreation Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in developing and managing physical activity programs.
- A passion for health, fitness, and community engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
