Join Our Team: Capital Projects Supervisor

The Region of Queens Municipality is looking for a skilled Capital Projects Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the daily activities of capital projects staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure that all projects align with the Municipality’s strategic goals and adhere to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Manage contractor relationships and procurement of services, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and make adjustments to project plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing capital projects or similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of municipal operations, project management tools, and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
