Throughout the week, customers within the entire water system will generally experience loss of water pressure and discolouration of water until all the flushing is completed.  This discoloured water should return to normal within a few days after flushing.  Customers should refrain from using water when flushing is being undertaken in their area.  Also customers are reminded that domestic hot water tanks should be flushed annually.  If you have any questions, please contact the Engineering and Works Department at 902-354-3455 during working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or the pager at 902-354-4749 after hours.

The Region of Queens apologizes for any inconvenience experienced by a customer and your cooperation and understanding are appreciated during this flushing period.
