Diversity and Inclusion Small Grant Program
The Diversity and Inclusion 2022-2023 Small Grant Program is meant to support and encourage not-for-profit groups with funding to develop and offer programs or services, create infrastructure, host events, or offer educational training that has a diversity and inclusion focus. The focus can be targeted at specific individuals and groups or be focused on opportunities in general.

The Diversity and Inclusion Action Team believes that all residents of Queens County should have equitable treatment and access to services and resources. Listed here will be community resources in Queens County that serve a wide range of people.
- Inclusive Language: What we say and how we say it is an important part of being inclusive. The use of inclusive language helps further our social and cultural diversity in our communities. The Diveristy and Inclusion Guide to Terminology is a helpful tool which will help people in using terms that are welcoming and inclusive to all. The Cheat Sheet to More Inclusive Language is a brief overview of up to date language. The language we use can build strong communities.
