Earth Day Clean Up

Earth Day is April 22 each year, and is celebrated in 193 countries around the world.  It is a day which was created to help bring awareness and support for environmental protection around the world. Everyone can make a difference by doing something to protect the environment – whether it is turning off lights to reduce power consumption, choosing to eat lunch from reusable containers, or doing a litter clean up – big or small, together, these actions can make an impact!

We’d like to extend a thank you to Region of Queens Municipality’s Public Works staff who participated in cleaning up garbage on Earth Day (and every day!). They keep Municipal parks, playgrounds and roadways looking GREAT!

We can all do our part to keep Queens Clean!
