Speed Radar Signs

Speed radar signs will soon be implemented around Queens County by the Region of Queens Municipality. The purpose of these signs is to collect data on the speed habits around Queens County and inform drivers of their current speed to help promote safer driving.

The Engineering & Public Works Department is accepting requests on where you would like to see these implemented, and why. Please click here to submit a location request for a speed radar sign, and complete the following steps:

• Insert full name.
• Select “yes” or “no” for if you wish to be contacted about your request.
• If yes fill out the required contact information.
• Use the map to select the location in which you would like to see a Speed Radar implemented.
• Select the travel direction you wish to see the sign installed on.
• Select the reasoning you feel best fits your request.
• Leave any additional comments you have and submit!
