Flags at Half Mast and Facility Closures in Observance of Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is November 11.Flags at the Region of Queens Municipality’s Administration Building and Queens Place Emera Centre will be flown at half mast on November 11 in observance of Remembrance Day. As well, flags on municipal properties with cenotaphs will also be flown at half mast on Remembrance Day.

The following facility closures will be in effect in observance of the Remembrance Day holiday:
Queens Place Emera Centre
    closed November 11 until 1:00 p.m.
Municipal Solid Waste Facility
    closed November 11
Administration Building and Engineering & Public Works Facility
    closed November 13
