  packaged against spilling.  Call before transporting.

  Call your local Detachment of the RCMP.

Derelict Vehicles (has to be accessible)

  Call Region of Queens Municipality 902-354-3455 for pickup.

Household Paints and Paint Aerosols

  Can be taken to nearest Enviro-Depot – Clyde Whynot
  located at 56 Meadow Pond Lane in Liverpool. Can also
  be taken to Solid Waste Facility.

Sharps

  Take back used sharps to any Pharmacy in a sharps
  container. Sharps containers are provided by the
  Pharmacy. Call 1-877-313-7732 for information.

Unused or Expired Medications

  Take back to any Pharmacy or call 1-844-535-8889.

Household Hazardous Waste
(Residental Only)

  Take to Household Hazardous Waste Depot at Solid
  Waste Facility.
Electronics (Computers, Audio
& Video Equipment and Non-Cellular
Phones and all components)

  Electronics can be taken to Corkum Bottle Exchange
  from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays at 4886

Cell Phones

  information nearest you.

Rechargeable Batteries

  Contact Call2Recycle at 1-877-273-2925 for drop-off

Used Tire Program

  Up to four tires can be returned to any tire retailer.

Beverage Deposit Refund Program

  Can be taken to nearest Enviro-Depot for a refund.
  Clyde Whynot’s Enviro-Depot is located at 56
  Meadow Pond Lane in Liverpool.

Leaf & Yard Waste

  Can be taken to Leaf & Yard Waste Site at 1799 Shore
  Rd. Western Head. Can also be placed out twice a year
  at curbside for Leaf & Yard Waste pickup.

Christmas Trees

  Can be taken to Leaf & Yard Waste Site at 1799 Shore
  Rd. Western Head. Can also be placed out at curbside
  in early January for Christmas Tree pickup.

Spring and Fall Cleanups

  Can be placed at curbside twice yearly. Items included are
  large bulky items such as furniture and appliances.

Construction & Demolition

  Wood, Asphalt Shingles, Drywall and Metals, whether
  sorted or in a mixed state can be taken to the Solid
  Waste Facility. Items such as wire, vinyl siding, glass,
  insulation and other building materials are also
  accepted here. Wood and metal can also be collected
  during Spring and Fall Cleanup.

Garbage, Organics and Recyclables

  Can be placed out every two weeks for pickup at curb-
  side or taken to the Solid Waste Facility.
